Applications from the website: when you fill in an application form, we collect your name or handle, email, city, venue, phone (optional), social account (creators) and any message.
Technical data: one-time verification code (temporary), IP address and security logs needed to prevent fraud and abuse.

Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service, creating and managing your account, matchmaking and following up collaborations: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Handling applications sent before an account is opened: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)). Security, fraud prevention and proper operation of the service: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Retention periods
Account data: for the lifetime of the account, then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable time after closure. Applications received via the website: at most 24 months after the last contact. Verification codes: a few minutes. Security logs: up to 12 months. Accounting documents linked to a transaction: 10 years, in accordance with legal obligations.
Recipients and hosting
Your data is hosted and processed on Cloudflare, Inc.infrastructure (page hosting, database, file storage and email delivery for the service).
Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. handles payments. The data a transaction requires is passed to them, and creators who receive payouts provide them directly with the documents required of payment service providers. We hold no card number and no identity document.
Crisp, a French support-messaging provider, hosts the conversations you open with us. It receives what you write there, and your email address if you are signed in to your account.
Contact information between a venue and a creator is shared between them only after a collaboration is signed. Your data is never passed on to any third party for commercial or advertising purposes.
Cookies and storage on your device
The service uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no analytics. There is nothing to accept or decline: we write to your device only what is strictly necessary for what you asked for.
- Your language choice, saved in your browser's local storage, and only when you click FR or EN. It never leaves your device.
- A session cookie, set when you sign in to your account, to keep you signed in. It is removed when you sign out.
- Stripe's cookies, set only when you open a payment, to prevent fraud. None are set if you do not pay.
- The support chat, to keep track of your conversation. On this site it only loads once you click “Message us”: as long as you do not ask to talk to us, nothing is stored. On the platform, once signed in, it is active so support can reply to you.
All three fall under the consent exemption for what is strictly necessary to the service requested. Should we ever add analytics or advertising, we would ask for your consent beforehand.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise them, write tohello@sejournee.com; we reply within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
