Guide · Venues
A creator stays at your property and delivers videos you then use on your own channels. Séjournée frames the collab: written deliverables, signed contract, clear usage rights. No agency, no endless DMs.
Shot and edited in the format social platforms expect. Usable the day they are delivered, with no recropping or retouching.
Enough to publish for several weeks, test several hooks, and keep the ones that work.
Deliverables are set in your offer: number of videos, length, format, photos where relevant.
Social, website, newsletter, booking listing, paid social. Each use is listed in the contract, with its duration.
A collab is paid in kind: nights you would have left empty. The real cost is not your public rate, it is housekeeping, breakfast and laundry. On the cash part, the creator’s rate is what they actually receive: Séjournée takes no commission on their share.
We only quote our own fees. Agency and freelance rates vary too much by region and supplier to be stated here.
The standard contract is built into the platform and signed online by both parties. It settles three things.
Number of videos, length, format, photos, and the revision round included. All of it is set before the stay.
Where you may publish, for how long, and whether paid social is covered. This is the point an Instagram DM never settles.
A deadline, and what happens if it passes: a reminder, then cancellation of the collab.
With influencer marketing you pay for a creator’s reach: they publish on their account, you buy their audience. With UGC you buy videos and the right to use them: the creator films, you distribute on your channels.
UGC costs less, leaves you in control of the message, and the content stays with you after the campaign. The two combine, but they are not bought the same way.
Answers
No. A collab is scheduled in a quiet period: the room would have stayed empty, and the creator gets a calmer property to film.
Around ten is the usual order of magnitude. The exact number is written into the offer you publish.
No, unless you require it in your offer. A UGC collab covers the videos and their usage rights, not the creator’s audience.
The contract includes a revision round. Payment only happens once deliverables are validated: if nothing is delivered, nothing is owed.
No. You are buying videos, not an audience. A property with four hundred followers needs footage just as much as any other.
No. Villas, guest houses, holiday rentals, Airbnbs and restaurants work the same way: nights are replaced by whatever the place can offer.
